It is always very exciting to me to meet new people, but since I am a bookworm authors are my favorite! Here are a few of the children's book authors I have had the privilege to meet. Somewhere on a couple of old phones, I have more pics. I have a picture of my author visit with Rick Riordan somewhere...he was my very favorite! I have also met Roland Smith, author of Peak. Arkansas author A. LaFaye, who wrote Worth. Avi, who is the author of City of Orphans. Along with Richard Peck, Susan Campbell Bartoletti, Tamora Pierce & Bruce Coville. Most recently, I met Margaret Peterson Haddix.
